2. ZigZag Board App
Collaborative whiteboard link that works with other whiteboards even in remote locations. It has a capture screen so others who come in late can see what has already been discussed or can refer back as needed. This is a web supported and 3G supported app that is secure and others can be invited in for different meeting or for different topics. I can see using this in a classroom where students are expected to follow along with a lecture and can add in comments or questions that others can help to answer. Pictures can be re-sized and so can writing.
3. Evernote Peek (for studying for a test or anything that you want to quiz yourself on)
This is best used with the official iPad Smart Cover that has multiple folds but is also works with the cheaper version that I got. It was designed by the makers of the Evernote app after viewing the new iPad2 and the Smart Cover. They felt that it would be the perfect addition to their app for making note cards, quizzes, etc. The application will actually keep track of right and wrong answers (the user helps) and then adjusts the clues for the next time so that it helps in the studying.
This app was designed to help students learn their times tables for 3s, 6s, 7s, and 9s by showing patterns that are visually memorable and easy for the students to recreate on paper once they "see it". The numbers show up in multiple colors and in a Tic-Tac-Toe pattern instead of spread out in a long row so that the visual clues jump out at even the least attentive. I plan to try this out with my special ed. math class in the fall using my Smart Board hookup and this app. I have used similar pattern on the chalk board with the 9s but had never realized that it could be so much more memorable using this setup.
This is a shortcut to Wikipedia and is a great way to explore information on the web. It keeps track of where the user has been (history), a table of content, audio playback for dictionary prounciations and other audio content available on Wikipedia, and much more.

This app is also for my entertainment but I have found that it is also useful for helping my students understand how the game works. Some of the math teachers use the Sudoko game as extra credit so I have been able to show them that the game is always solvable and that by backing up or erasing they can see where they have made a mistake.
13. Math Board
This seems to be a great way to mix up the basic math work that is done in my special education class. It will , I hope, allow me to vary the material depending on the level of work the student is able to do so they don't get bored.
This is a great looking sight word app. which helps students build their sight words in order to increase their comprehension, self-esteem, and reading fluency. There are over 1,500 words included that cover much of the vocabulary in early reading material.
